Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager to lead a new software application for a U.S. public-sector client.

This fully remote role in the United States places you at the center of discovery, backlog ownership, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and UX designers. You will shape the product vision and roadmap, validate ideas with users, and translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Ownership of a product from idea through launch.
• 5+ years in software product management or ownership.
• Hands-on backlog management using Jira or similar tool.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with users, engineers, designers, and executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
• Lead product discovery, validate problems and potential solutions.
• Engage directly with users and stakeholders to gather needs.
• Translate feedback into actionable requirements and priorities.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and SAFe PI Planning when applicable.
• Drive incremental releases and measure outcomes against metrics.
