Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Owner to prioritize and oversee the development team’s work, ensuring maximum value from product outcomes. You will define user stories, clarify requirements, and maximize value delivered by the team.

Responsibilities include daily interaction with the team and Scrum Master, collaborating with stakeholders, and translating priorities into actionable backlog items. This remote role may require occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience representing business or technology in technology implementations and/or product/project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, meeting facilitation, negotiation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.
• Self-starter who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with the development team and the Scrum Master.
• Partner with Product Manager to define and prioritize backlog based on roadmap and releases.
• Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage risks that could impact delivery and ensure quality meets acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrate and communicate value of sprint outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support multiple Agile Delivery Teams and collaborate with remote stakeholders.
