Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Product Owner to advance the FRFS product vision within a complex organization. You will translate business needs into prioritized backlog items and guide an Agile team to deliver valuable software.

You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, and QA, communicate with stakeholders, and help drive risk reduction and onboarding of new capabilities. This onsite role requires strong communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• Typically 7–10 years of related experience.
• Ability to bridge business and IT with strong communication.
• Experience with use cases, functional specs, and UI specs.

Responsibilities

• Translate business wants into prioritized requirements for agile delivery.
• Lead the Agile team and manage the backlog.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and QA to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Present working software to stakeholders and participate in demos.
• Support governance forums and monitor OKRs.
