Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Product Manager for Software and Digital Platforms to define products, translate market needs into executable requirements, and drive alignment across business units, engineering, and program teams.

This senior role bridges between vertical end-market teams and software, AI, and platform developers. You will shape product strategy, collaborate with marketing and customers, and ensure platform reuse and scalability across markets while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in product management, systems engineering, applications engineering, or related role supporting embedded products.
Demonstrated experience managing or defining products that include embedded software, firmware, or software-enabled hardware platforms.
Hands-on understanding of embedded software development practices, software lifecycle considerations, and interaction between firmware, drivers, middleware, hardware, and end applications.
Experience translating customer and market needs into detailed product requirements and driving cross-functional alignment through execution.
Strong technical and business judgment, including assessing product tradeoffs, prioritizing features, and contributing to business case development.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence engineering, business, and customer teams without direct authority.
Understanding of competitive dynamics, customer workflows, and software platform trends in embedded and digital product environments.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into detailed product requirements for software and digital platforms.
Define product scope, use cases, feature priorities, and requirements for software and digital platform offerings.
Work with software, embedded, systems, and hardware engineering teams to refine requirements and ensure scalable architecture.
Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization for software-enabled products and platform capabilities.
Develop business cases and support project scoping, including development effort, cost, lifecycle implications, and platform reuse opportunities.
Clarify the product lifecycle from concept through launch, support, and end of life, with clear release readiness plans.
Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights and shape product direction.
Collaborate with program management and development teams during planning cycles to provide priorities and visibility.
