This senior role requires translating market needs into executable requirements, guiding cross-functional teams, and developing business cases to enable reusable digital assets across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 7+ years in product management, systems engineering, or related role supporting embedded products.
• Experience defining products with embedded software, firmware, or software-enabled hardware.
• Hands-on understanding of software lifecycle, drivers, middleware, and hardware interactions.
• Ability to translate customer/market needs into detailed product requirements and drive alignment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing, engineering, and customers to translate business needs for SW, Digital, and AI into product requirements.
• Define scope, use cases, features, and requirements for software and digital platform offerings.
• Collaborate with software, embedded, systems, and hardware teams to refine requirements and resolve tradeoffs.
• Contribute to roadmaps, balance customer demand with technical feasibility and resources.
• Develop business cases, assess development effort, lifecycle implications, and platform reuse.
• Clarify product lifecycle from concept to launch, sustainment, and end of life.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to gather insights and shape direction based on feedback.
• Align go-to-market documentation and collateral with roadmap commitments and launch objectives.
• Influence platform strategy by standardizing components and expanding reuse across product lines.
