Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a product leader to own the surface area enabling self-hosted and Temporal Cloud deployments. You will partner with Engineering and self-hosted services to deliver durable, operable capabilities that let customers run Temporal where it fits their risk posture.

Qualifications

• Product leadership experience shipping/incrementing infrastructure/platform products.
• Translate complex customer needs into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering on deployment architecture, replication, and storage.
• Align stakeholders across teams to drive durable decisions in ambiguity.
• Excellent written communication for PRDs and customer guidance.
• Customer-first mindset with focus on quality and operability.

Responsibilities

• Own self-hosted and hybrid deployment models, with clear positioning and outcomes.
• Improve installation, configuration, upgrades, and operability across varied infra.
• Drive product direction for production readiness and operational tooling.
• Define strategy around database and storage choices balancing operability.
• Own multi-region and multi-cloud topology for self-hosted environments.
• Collaborate with Resident Architects to translate needs into roadmap and deployment patterns.
• Own Temporal Proxy as end-to-end product: roadmap, packaging, deployment experience.
