Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking an experienced Backend/Platform Engineer to own and evolve the Cloud Platform Foundations that underpin Temporal Cloud. You will tackle HA/DR, control plane automation, and multi-tenant architecture while scaling databases and building safer CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll work with Go, Kubernetes, and cloud storage services, collaborating with engineers and product managers to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Backend experience with cloud/infrastructure focus.
• Experience on a control plane for cloud-based microservices.
• Background building or operating multi-tenant SaaS apps.
• Familiarity with density-oriented cloud provider architectures.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience.
• Design for high availability and scale.
• CLI and DevOps fluency; tooling over clicking.

Responsibilities

• HA/DR enablement with continuous regional failover.
• Automate control plane for reliability and efficiency.
• Scale data storage and optimize performance.
• Redesign path from commit to production with solid tooling.
