Job summary

AXS is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our Resale platform. This role leads the core marketplace engine powering resale listings, inventory, pricing, and API integrations across thousands of events.

You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Payments, Partner Experience, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable, reliable resale platform that grows marketplace liquidity and improves the fan experience across the live event

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering complex software products in Agile environments.
• Proven success owning technical products, platforms, APIs, SDKs, integrations, or enterprise software solutions.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver platform, integration, or infrastructure‑adjacent products.
• Experience supporting mission‑critical workflows with reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures, distributed systems, telemetry, observability, and data‑driven decisions.
• Ability to navigate complex ecosystems spanning modern and legacy systems and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven outcomes.
• Balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints while driving strategy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management for cross‑functional alignment.
• Systems thinker with a platform mindset to connect business processes and technical systems.
• Curious, data‑driven, and focused on continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the core Resale platform engine across the AXS ecosystem.
• Establish platform priorities that balance scalability, reliability, modernization, and marketplace growth.
• Own platform capabilities delivered through APIs, data contracts, integrations, event‑driven services, and backend systems for listings, inventory, and pricing.
• Lead systems and domain modeling for core resale entities like events, venues, seating, listings, inventory, and transactions.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria with Engineering.
• Define API standards, service‑level objectives, reliability goals, and operational readiness standards with Architecture.
• Drive product decisions using marketplace metrics, telemetry, observability, and performance data.
• Coordinate capacity planning and delivery sequencing with engineering leadership across onshore and offshore teams.
• Partner with Partner Experience to ensure APIs and integrations are ready for external adoption.
• Identify improvements to reduce technical debt and data quality issues across the resale ecosystem.
• Develop deep understanding of secondary ticketing dynamics and resale workflows.
• Lead modernization efforts across legacy resale systems while maintaining marketplace continuity.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to reliability, data quality, listing coverage, performance, and delivery predictability.
• Communicate roadmap, risks, priorities, and outcomes clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build alignment across diverse groups and influence decisions with data and customer insights.
