Job summary

ALIGN Executive Search is seeking a Senior Product Manager with post-acute healthcare experience to shape our EHR roadmap and guide implementations in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

You will work with the CEO and Director of Product Management to translate clinical and operational needs into technical requirements, lead a small implementation team, and ensure deployments deliver ROI across facilities.

Qualifications

• Expert in developing product roadmaps, writing feature stories, and driving engineering execution.
• Healthcare or EHR product experience is a strong plus.
• Deep operational experience inside Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living facilities.
• Experience operating the billing apparatus, administering facilities, managing census, or driving facility growth.
• Knowledge of MDS, care plans, census flows, and billing through discharge.
• CMS reporting, MDS coding, and RAI process understanding.
• Experience leading software rollouts into facilities, ideally EMR systems.
• Ability to translate product requirements into engineering-ready user stories.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and define the EHR roadmap with the Director of Product Management and CEO.
• Write feature stories, acceptance criteria, and specs that engineering builds from, driving backlog to shipped.
• Run the Jira board, clear blockers, and ensure releases land on schedule.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into technical requirements for engineers.
• Lead a small implementation team and deliver facility staff training.
