You will collaborate with design, engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure products meet market trends and customer needs. Responsibilities include shaping vision and roadmap, building business cases, conducting market research on standards (UL, DLC), VOC interviews with architects and contractors, agile execution with R&D, and pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in lighting industry strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Proven project management across multiple high-impact projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Cross-functional leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision & positioning: shape a multi-year product vision aligning with market trends and goals.
• Roadmap planning: prioritize features based on ROI, feasibility, and competition.
• Build business cases with financial models (TCO, NPV, margins) and secure approvals.
• Market research: track regulations and standards, and emerging technologies.
• Voice of customer: conduct interviews with architects, contractors, distributors, and end users.
• Competitive analysis: monitor competitor portfolios to inform differentiation.
• Translate needs into detailed requirements (optical performance, IP rating, dimming).
• Lead agile execution with R&D, mechanical, and firmware engineering.
• Design collaboration: balance form-factor, thermal, manufacturability, cost targets.
• Pricing & packaging: cost-plus and value-based pricing, SKU configurations.
• Sales & adoption tracking: monitor revenues and backlog by region.
• Post-launch support: warranty analysis and field feedback with quality teams.
• End-of-life planning and migration communications.
• Standards adherence: ensure UL 1598, CE, RoHS, DLC compliance.
• Executive reporting: communicate roadmap progress and P&L impact.
• Partner relations: engage suppliers for roadmaps and cost advantages.
• Team development: mentor associate PMs and PMs.
• Technology adoption: leverage AI to accelerate development.
