Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to own the product strategy and roadmap from our Valencia, CA headquarters. This on-site role collaborates with sales, marketing, and engineering to drive feature releases and ensure market-fit lighting solutions.

You will translate customer needs into actionable requirements, monitor trends, and report performance to leadership. A strong business and technical acumen, plus excellent communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong project management and deadline-driven capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends, and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document feature requests with sales, marketing, and support.
• Coordinate feature releases—define scope, timelines, and communications.
• Monitor lighting trends and evolving standards (ENERGY STAR®, DLC).
• Benchmark competitors for performance, features, and pricing.
• Define target segments and refine value propositions accordingly.
• Collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Coordinate QA and regulatory alignment for testing and certifications.
• Track KPIs and report insights to leadership.
