Job summary

Monument is seeking a Senior Product Manager to guide the next phase of our platform's evolution. You will partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define strategy and lead a team of engineers to deliver scalable improvements.

You will own discovery, write PRDs, break work into Epics and Stories with clear acceptance criteria, and drive Agile ceremonies. You excel in complex financial workflows and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a software company.
• Experience with accounting, billing, payments, or financial systems.
• Thorough, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Able to manage shifting priorities with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery on new features analyzing business requirements, competitive analysis and stakeholder feedback.
• Write PRDs with business objectives, architecture impacts, data flows, and API contracts.
• Break down requirements into Epics and Stories with UI/UX, business logic, APIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and timelines early to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Define integration strategies, data contracts, and API design for scalability.
• Collaborate on robust integrations with external partners and internal platform teams.
• Test and validate features before release ensuring edge cases are covered.
• Develop deep product expertise to inform decisions.
