Job summary

Monument seeks a Senior Product Manager in Dallas, TX (Addison) to shape the next phase of our platform’s evolution. You’ll partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define product strategy and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality enhancements at scale.

You have 5+ years in product management, with experience in complex financial systems, and a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. You will own the product area and drive proactive, accountable execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a software company.
• Experience with accounting, billing, payments, or financial systems.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in approach.
• Ability to navigate shifting priorities and take ownership.
• Eagerness to become a subject-matter expert in Monument platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery on new features with business requirements, competitive analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
• Write PRDs detailing objectives, architecture impacts, data flows, and API contracts; validate with customers.
• Break down requirements into Epics and Stories with UI/UX, logic, APIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, reviews.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and timeline changes early to keep momentum.
• Define integration strategies, data contracts, and API design with engineering leads.
• Collaborate with partners and platform teams to scope, sequence, deliver integrations.
• Test and validate features before release, ensure edge cases covered.
• Develop deep product knowledge to inform decisions.
