Job summary

Monument is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape our platform's evolution. You will partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define strategy, prioritize improvements, and lead a team of engineers to deliver scalable features.

You will own discovery, PRD writing, and sprint planning, ensuring data integrity and robust integrations with external partners. A strong background in finance systems and ownership mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a software company.
• Experience working within complex accounting, billing, payments, or financial systems.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail are strong assets.
• Ability to tackle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ownership mindset across the product area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery on new features, analyzing business requirements, competitive analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
• Write PRDs detailing objectives, system impacts, data flows, and API requirements; validate with customers and stakeholders.
• Break down requirements into Epics and Stories with UI/UX, business logic, API dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and timeline changes early to keep stakeholders aligned.
