Job summary

Monument is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the next phase of our platform. You will partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to define product strategy, shape requirements, prioritize improvements, and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality enhancements at scale.

You bring 5+ years in product management, deep experience in accounting/financial workflows, and a track record of delivering complex systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a software company.
• Experience working within complex accounting, billing, payments, or financial systems.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery on new features, analyzing business requirements, competition, and feedback.
• Write PRDs articulating objectives, architecture impacts, data flows, and API requirements.
• Break down requirements into Epics/Stories with UI/UX, logic, APIs and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate risks, blockers, and timelines to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Define integration strategies, data contracts, and API design with engineering leads.
• Collaborate on robust integrations with external partners and internal teams.
• Test and validate features before release, considering edge cases.
• Develop deep product expertise to inform decisions.
