Job summary

United Airlines seeks a senior leader to drive adoption of Enterprise Integration technologies across the organization. You will own the integration platform roadmap, guide API and Event-driven development, and coordinate migrations from legacy systems.

Responsibilities include defining governance, partnering with architects and security teams, and building a product support structure for enterprise deployments. Requires 6+ years in API Management and messaging, with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience implementing API Management and Enterprise Messaging Technologies
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms supporting messaging infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience defining solution and integration architectures for large enterprise apps
• Roadmap, backlog, writing user stories, and coordinating requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate across cross-border, cross-functional stakeholder groups without direct authority
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Act as product owner for Integration platforms, provide architecture and guidance for API and Event-driven development
• Define and own the product backlog and roadmap for integration platforms
• Develop migration strategy for legacy API and Messaging solutions
• Collaborate with Enterprise architects and security teams on API management vision and plans
• Define operating model and governance for APIs and Events across the enterprise
• Engage QA to define automated tests and validation for API and Event specs
• Establish a product support organization for deployments and post-deployment support
