Job summary

Credence seeks a Senior Application Programmer to lead API design and integration efforts across enterprise systems. The role focuses on building secure, scalable APIs using MuleSoft, modernizing legacy interfaces, and supporting mission-critical applications in a government-ready environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software development, API integration, and experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware, plus strong leadership and Agile/DevSecOps expertise. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development, API development, and enterprise integration experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise software solutions.
• Experience with MuleSoft or comparable middleware platforms and SAP integration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to lead technical efforts and mentor development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
• Modernize legacy interfaces and data exchanges with secure, real-time API services.
• Develop API solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and related tools.
• Create and maintain API specifications using REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, and XML.
• Collaborate with architects, cybersecurity, and stakeholders across the SDLC.
