Job summary

Grainger seeks a senior Product Manager to lead the Customer-Facing APIs program from Chicago in a Hybrid role. You define vision, roadmap, and strategy for APIs enabling customers, partners, and developers to integrate with Grainger.

You will shape eProcurement growth and end-to-end integration visibility, collaborating with engineering, design, and operations to deliver innovative product experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading API/platform or integration product teams.
• Strong process design and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive adoption.
• Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments.

Responsibilities

• Owns and evolves product strategy for a sub-domain and enterprise roadmaps.
• Define metrics and monitor success to drive outcomes.
• Influence senior stakeholders with clear narratives.
• Champion user understanding and collaborate with UX and Analytics.
• Identify opportunities and leverage Grainger knowledge to create value.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Balance speed, quality, and risk to maximize impact.
• Coach and mentor other product managers on best practices.
