Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards, taxonomy design, and AI-enabled content workflows, working alongside content business units to improve production.

You will redesign production workflows, drive data standards, and coach other PMs, delivering measurable quality and learner outcomes.

This role requires 7+ years in product management in content, strong collaboration, and hands-on build experience with CMS/DAM/LCMS and current AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management within content, publishing, or content platforms.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards, taxonomy, and metadata.
• Experience with authoring/production/delivery platforms and migrations.
• Proven ability to ship substantive content systems with AI tooling.
• Comfortable in SVPG-style empowered product teams with outcome-based planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards spine implementation across business units.
• Redesign production workflows to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Collaborate with content leaders on strategy, planning, and craft.
• Define artifacts from MRDs to PRDs and specs.
• Build AI fluency and apply AI to content generation and quality assurance.
