Job summary

Pearson is seeking an senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards, taxonomy, and production optimization. You will work with content business units to rebuild workflows, define metadata, and drive AI-enabled content improvements. Strong communication with senior leaders is essential.

You will shape the content strategy, oversee artifact definitions from MRDs to PRDs, and mentor other PMs, while delivering measurable quality and efficiency gains across Pearson's content operations.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of product management experience in content/publishing or content platform domains.
• Hands-on ownership of taxonomy, metadata design, and quality measurement for content.
• Experience with CMS, DAM, LCMS, and XML-based content systems, including migrations.
• Experience building and shipping substantive content systems with current AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Guide content teams and stakeholders to high-quality plans and roadmaps.
• Redesign production workflows, reduce handoffs, and prove productivity gains.
• Partner with content leaders to align strategy, planning, and craft.
• Build training and career development for content PMs and teams.
• Lead evaluation and governance for AI-assisted content generation.
