Job summary

Procore, a leading construction tech company, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Cost Management based in our Austin, TX office with a hybrid work structure. You will blend financial fluency with product discipline to shape cost workflows and drive alignment with enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, or equivalent experience in GTM, solutions, or customer-facing role with strong product thinking.
• Fluency with complex financial concepts — cost control, budgets, contracts, change management, forecasting, revenue recognition, or ERP integrations — ideally in construction, project-based, or financial software context.
• Proven ability to engage confidently with customers and act as a subject matter expert who builds credibility through product and domain knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, balance customer empathy with platform thinking, and make deliberate tradeoffs.
• Data-driven decision-maker who doesn't let perfect be the enemy of good — able to act with conviction when information isn't complete.
• Experience shifting between long-term strategy and detailed requirements, edge cases, and system dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate a compelling product narrative to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep domain expertise in construction finance, including budgets, contracts, change events, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Own and drive the strategy and roadmap for one or more Cost Management tools from discovery through delivery.
• Partner with UX designers and engineers to translate complex financial workflows into accurate, trustworthy experiences.
• Collaborate across Cost Management and adjacent product areas to ensure data flows across the platform.
• Engage directly with customers, including enterprise accounts, through discovery sessions and beta programs.
• Translate complex financial use cases into detailed product requirements covering behavior, edge cases, permissions, and dependencies.
• Define and track OKRs and metrics that demonstrate tangible customer and business value.
• Evangelize the Cost Management vision across engineering, GTM, and executives to build alignment.
