Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations.
• Bachelor7s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience running and/or shipping consumer web applications.
• Ability to generate strong product plans and build buy-in with teams and contractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical, UX, and PM trade-offs; ability to handle ambiguity.
• Ability to identify market trends and update plans accordingly.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Work authorization that doesnt require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert accounting knowledge and insights.
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Guide stakeholders through complex policy implementation and business processes.
• Collaborate with legal, public policy, business, and operations teams for accuracy of accounting processes.
• Ensure audit logging, system integrations and monitoring are effective.
• Provide training and support to team members on new software tools.
• Define project direction, scope, and priorities from high-level initiatives to features and metrics.
• Socialize and build buy-in for product initiatives with partners and contractors.
• Prioritize roadmaps in collaboration with project management.
