The role emphasizes expert accounting practice, cross-team collaboration, and the integration of accounting software with policy-driven programs. The successful candidate will lead accounting efforts across projects, ensure compliance with state regulations, and communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to generate strong product plans and build buy-in across the team, our government partners, and other contractors.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert knowledge and insights in accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and technology solutions, including experience with system conversions and integrations.
• Guide stakeholders through complex public policy implementation and business processes.
• Explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Assist in developing and reviewing program documentation, training content, and manuals.
• Collaborate with legal, public policy, business, and operations teams to ensure accuracy of accounting processes and systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
