Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a senior Product Line Business Manager to own end-to-end product line leadership, strategy, and P&L with cross-functional teams. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and market strategies to drive profitable growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include lifecycle ownership, pricing/action strategies, and portfolio optimization. Requires strong leadership, customer engagement, and regulatory understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive PM, business leadership or related roles with portfolio responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and people management.
• Demonstrated success managing P&L, program cost, scheduling, forecasting, and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of product/manufacturing tech, business systems and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills; proficient with MS Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Own product line P&L and business performance, including revenue, bookings, margin, inventory, forecast accuracy, cost, schedule, and objectives.
• Develop and execute product, pricing, promotion, channels, and market strategies for growth and margin expansion.
• Lead strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, portfolio prioritization, and business plans.
• Own the complete product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life and roadmap.
• Translate market needs into product priorities; engage customers and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead cross-functional execution to meet customer, quality, cost, delivery, and regulatory commitments.
• Direct major proposals, business cases, launches, and growth initiatives; align with Engineering.
• Drive portfolio simplification and cost-out initiatives using Parker Operating Principles.
• Monitor competitors and market dynamics; convert insights to actions.
• Ensure readiness for key customer/business requirements with risk management and follow-through.
• Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching and collaboration.
