Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager for our Outbound Subrogation product, a strategic role shaping the AI-enabled workflow within the insurance ecosystem.

You will own the roadmap, drive data-driven decisions, and collaborate with engineering and data science to launch scalable features. You will partner across sales, customer success, and product marketing to craft ROI narratives, enable complex deals, and guide adoption at large enterprise carriers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience in enterprise software or high-growth SaaS.
• At least one 0-to-1 product build or major relaunch in a startup or high-velocity environment.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI-driven or data-intensive products with LLMs, scoring models, or ML pipelines as core components.
• Track record of working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to validate product direction, plan for adoption, and support commercial outcomes.
• Deep experience in at least one complex, regulated vertical (insurance, fintech, healthtech, or similar); direct subrogation or claims experience is a meaningful differentiator.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward action and learning over extensive upfront planning.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for Outbound Subrogation user experience, including prioritization of features, data capabilities, AI enhancements, and integrations.
• Translate market signals, customer research, and competitive intelligence into a clear, defensible strategy you can articulate from the carrier floor to the executive team.
• Set and track the metrics that matter to carriers: dollars recovered, identification rate, cycle time, and other ROI signals.
• Partner with data science and engineering on architecture for next-best-action and workflow design, plus deployment of AI capabilities.
• Conduct customer research with recovery managers, subrogation adjusters, and carrier teams; inform hard product decisions.
• Represent the voice of the user in internal prioritization conversations; maintain a continuous feedback loop between field and roadmap.
• Contribute directly to working software alongside engineers, using AI coding tools as part of how you work.
• Build and own the ROI case for the product: define how carriers measure value from subrogation tooling and accountability.
• Partner with sales, CS, and product marketing on go-to-market, ROI narratives, and carrier-facing materials.
• Support active sales cycles as the product expert: articulate value to buyer stakeholders from operations to C-suite.
