Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Clinical Data Hub (CDH) product within the CDA-DTI structure in Thousand Oaks. You will set the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps enabling discovery, integration, governance, and reuse of clinical data across studies.

You will build partnerships across Clinical Development, Data Management, Biostatistics, and Compliance, while guiding a team through discovery, backlog, and delivery of scalable data capabilities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Biology with experience
• 4+ years of managerial experience leading teams, products, or programs
• Extensive background in clinical data management, analytics, or related domains
• Proven ability to define vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmaps for complex data platforms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships across Clinical Development, Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Safety, Regulatory, and DTI
• Own and communicate the CDH product vision, backlog, and roadmap
• Champion scalable data products, governance, security, and data interoperability
• Lead portfolio planning, prioritize backlog and budget, balance trade-offs
• Provide leadership for a cross-functional team and foster accountability
• Develop workforce and resource strategies, including vendor management
• Collaborate with data, analytics, platform, security, DevOps, and other product teams
• Represent CDH in senior leadership forums and communicate strategy and risks
