Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Cash Line, a role that owns a new product end-to-end from market fit to scale. You will influence strategic direction, partner with design, engineering, ML, risk and analytics, and drive features that strengthen trust and financial outcomes for customers.

The position requires 8+ years in product management with revenue accountability, strong quantitative skills, and a track record of delivering 0-to-1 products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with direct revenue accountability.
• Experience taking a 0-to-1 or early-stage product from initial launch to product-market fit.
• Exceptional quantitative judgment to assess funnel data and experiments.
• Track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong experimentation instincts and hypothesis development.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for a fast-growing credit product balancing customer and business needs.
• Translate insights into product features that build trust and value.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, ML, Risk, Finance, and Analytics on roadmap.
• Monitor landscape and adjust pricing to stay competitive.
• Connect product decisions to business outcomes and margins.
• Leverage underwriting and ecosystem strengths to grow Cash Line.
• Define success metrics and prioritize high-ROI opportunities.
