Job summary

Ruxlo, a startup reimagining home records, is seeking a product-focused leader to join as the first product hire in Manasquan, NJ. You will own roadmaps, gather user feedback, define priorities, and drive from spec to shipped feature while shaping documentation, UAT, and analytics integration.

You'll work directly with the COO and engineers, triaging ideas, writing clear acceptance criteria, and deciding what to build next.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment.
You've been the whole product function for something real and shipped it.
Acceptance criteria rigor: identify and fix vague requirements before coding.
You use AI in the work with prompts, evals, agents, etc.
Product analytics with defined events, funnels, and retention insights.
You’ve talked to real users recently and can cite how feedback changed plans.
Fluency with Scrum ceremonies and the line between what and how.
Ability to be onsite in Manasquan, NJ 4 days/week.

Responsibilities

Decide what gets built next and document why “no” is the correct choice.
Write specs and drive questions to zero before approvals, signed by lead engineer and designer.
Refinement two sprints out with design and engineering in the room.
Test in staging, make go/no-go decisions, and draft release notes.
Feed feedback into the pipeline and prioritize tech debt with engineering.
Build and manage AI tooling to draft and synthesize work, ensuring quality.
