Job summary

HubSpot is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in the Product Pillar to partner with Product leadership on financial planning across OpEx and headcount. You’ll own plans, forecasts, and scenario modeling, translating complex numbers into clear guidance to drive investment choices.

You will collaborate with leaders, build auditable models, and push for automation and AI‑enabled improvements in finance processes.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in FP&A or a similarly structured analytical finance role.
Strong financial modeling skills and analytical rigor; able to build clean, auditable models.
Excellent communication and storytelling; convey narrative beyond the numbers.
Track record of building trusted business partnerships as a strategic advisor.
Comfort working in ambiguity and creating structure where it doesn’t exist.
AI‑first operating mindset; identify opportunities to use AI to accelerate analysis and processes.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for financial models and reporting.

Responsibilities

Serve as FP&A partner for Product sub‑departments; manage OpEx and headcount planning.
Lead annual, monthly, quarterly planning and budgeting rhythms.
Evaluate investments and guide resource allocation with clear financial guidance.
Own variance analysis across OpEx and headcount; deliver insights.
Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision making.
Support headcount planning; align hiring with financial targets.
Prepare materials for management reviews and partner check‑ins.
