Job summary

HubSpot is seeking a Lead Finance Partner for Product FP&A, remote across the US. You will own financial strategy and forecasting for a multi‑digit platform cost base, partnering with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Procurement to translate cloud/AI economics into clear business decisions.

This role combines FP&A ownership with strategic projects, including COGS processes, driver-based forecasting, and cost attribution to guide pricing, packaging, and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or FinOps.
• Understanding of COGS, gross margin, and unit economics in a cloud, SaaS, or usage-driven environment.
• Experience building driver-based models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Ownership of ambiguous, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, and Strategy & Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform COGS planning, forecasting, and business partnership with Eng and TPM as the Finance DRI — driving forecast accuracy and leadership-ready cost insights.
• Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for hyperscaler contract renewal and shape contract strategy.
• Build driver-based forecasting frameworks for LLM/compute demand and platform spend for AI infrastructure needs.
• Partner with Engineering and Data teams to connect platform usage to feature-level cost attribution and margin analysis.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from questions to decision-ready recommendations.
