Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Product Development Senior Analyst to translate product level requirements into subsystem design criteria, develop and verify design concepts, and own engineering release including CAD drawings and BOMs.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing and Service to meet cost, quality and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of product development experience from concept to design release.
• Preferred Six Sigma/Operational Excellence experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate product level requirements into subsystem design criteria.
• Develop and verify design of subsystems/modules/components on schedule and at cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Own engineering release including CAD drawings and BOMs.
• Lead design tradeoffs among cost, aesthetics, performance, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate prototype builds and cross-functional collaboration (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Service).
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; drive subsystem/module strategy.
