Job summary

Nova Music is seeking a Senior Product Designer to simplify and clarify the studio experience across web and iOS. You’ll shape flows from first setup through billing, communications, and student interactions, collaborating with educators, families, and developers.

You’ll build a design system, conduct user research, and drive iterations using data and AI-assisted methods to ensure a coherent Nova experience across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of product design experience on complex web or mobile products.
• Portfolio shows strong interaction design, systems thinking, and clear product judgment.
• Skilled in customer research, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design from customer discovery and early concepts through detailed interaction design.
• Simplify scheduling, billing, messaging, onboarding, and student-facing workflows.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interface designs.
• Conduct customer interviews and usability studies with teachers, students, and families.
• Partner closely with product and engineering throughout implementation.
• Build and maintain a design system that works across responsive web and native iOS experiences.
• Use product data and customer feedback to evaluate released work and improve it.
• Use AI throughout research, concept development, prototyping, design critique, and documentation.
