Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Product Designer II to own key Axon Records features, shaping user‑centred experiences across mobile and desktop. You will partner with PMs and engineers to define direction, lead research, prototyping and usability testing, and deliver scalable design solutions for complex workflows.

You'll drive design initiatives, advocate for users, and balance product goals with technical constraints while collaborating with a global team in a hybrid Seattle‑based environment that

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience, including at least 4 years leading major design initiatives.
• 3+ years of enterprise software or complex consumer workflow design.
• Proficient in user-centered design processes across research, sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Strong collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present designs clearly.
• Experience with Figma; familiarity with Cursor, Claude, and Gemini is a plus.

• Own Key Product Areas: take ownership of Axon Records features.
• Contribute to Product Strategy: work with PMs to influence direction.
• Execute End-to-End Design: research, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
• Conduct User Research: plan and execute studies to inform decisions.
• Leverage AI Thoughtfully: design with clear AI usage and transparency.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with PMs, engineers, and designers globally.
• Design for Multi-Modal Experiences: create for mobile and desktop.
• Simplify Complexity: turn workflows into intuitive, scalable designs.
• Communicate Effectively: present concepts clearly to stakeholders.
