Job summary

Render is seeking a Product Designer to elevate our developer-focused UI as teams scale from single services to complex multi-service architectures. You will own surfaces developers rely on during high-pressure moments, shaping a cohesive experience across the platform.

Ideal candidates will bring strong information architecture, obsession with craft, and fluency in developer-centric workflows, collaborating closely with product and engineering to evolve the design system and tooling for

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in product design or developer tools.
Strong craft with typography, spacing, motion, and density.
Excellent information architecture and ability to design cohesive journeys across multiple surfaces.
Collaborates effectively with product and engineering partners.
Fluent in developer language and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

Make a multi-service system legible at a glance, showing how services connect.
Design system-level observability with logs, metrics, and events across a project.
Design deployment as a coordinated act with cross-service rollout and previews.
Own the first-run experience from signup to first deploy.
Contribute to the platform roadmap with design-led discovery and regular critiques.
