Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design experience across our unified software suite. You will lead from research through high-fidelity mockups, reusable assets, and developer handoff, partnering with engineering and product to realize a user-centered design vision.

This role offers autonomy to define how design happens on the team, including standards, component libraries, and resources that the broader development team relies on.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio across complex software.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping) as a daily tool.
• Familiarity with React and Vue.js to design UI components for frontend frameworks.
• Ability to communicate and defend design decisions to cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing systems and scalable components for multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UI/UX design process across our software suite from concept to handoff.
• Design and build reusable Figma component libraries and UI assets and align with React development.
• Communicate design direction through mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and critique with stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to surface trends and actionable initiatives.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs with real users.
• Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and process resources.
• Review implemented features for design fidelity and mentor team members.
