Render is hiring a Staff Product Designer to own Agent Experience end-to-end. You’ll shape the full programmatic surface—CLI, API, MCP, SDKs—creating a cohesive, trusted experience for developers and agents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally on developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, or similar.
• Ability to design end-to-end experiences across interfaces and boundaries.
• Strong portfolio showing GUI and non-GUI surface design.
• Familiarity with developer docs, CLI messages, and API ergonomics.

Responsibilities

• Design the full programmatic interface across CLI, API, MCP, SDKs, Blueprints, and Skills.
• Create agent-facing documentation and developer experience content.
• Close the onboarding gap with a configuration-first path using code descriptions.
• Develop dashboard surfaces to visualize agent-driven work and trust in automation.
• Design agent auth and access with least privilege and clear UX for permissions.
• Unify model across surfaces so developers and agents see the same product.
• Highlight moments of intent in copy and post-signup flow for discoverability.
