Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape its expansive product portfolio, bringing exceptional craft and fresh perspective to identity and security. You will design the user experience for Okta Privileged Access, enabling unified access and governance for privileged resources across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or relevant work experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer.
• Proficient in Figma or similar design tools.
• At least a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• A digital portfolio showing depth across a variety of projects, including work that shipped and was used in real products.
• 5+ years of experience as Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute an ambitious product design strategy for your team ensuring a meaningful impact on both user experience and business outcomes.
• Bring a systems-thinking lens to connect user insights with business goals to create scalable experiences for millions of customers.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science to deliver best-in-class experiences.
• Design end-to-end flows for multiple personas across the Okta portfolio ensuring secure and efficient work for users.
• Perfect design patterns that drive efficiency and consistency across the product.
• Regularly present work and new ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive alignment and show design impact.
• Advocate the thoughtful use of AI for brainstorming, prototyping, and collaboration with team members
