Job summary

Nivoda is looking for a Senior Product Designer for the Growth pod. You’ll own growth surface design from exploration to experimentation, collaborating with PMs and engineers to lift conversion and retention.

You’ll shape systems, run research, and apply an AI-informed approach to speed up ideation and prototyping. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering, shipping fast in a data-driven environment, and mentoring junior designers while keeping a strong craft standard.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with strong UX thinking and high-fidelity UI craft.
• Experience designing for data-dense or catalogue-heavy products such as marketplaces or e-commerce.
• Equally fluent in UX and UI, from flows to design systems and interaction detail.
• A track record shipping fast in high-velocity environments with engineers.
• Experience running user research and translating findings into design decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma and contributing to a component-based design system.
• Strong communication; able to tell the story of a design decision clearly.
• Based in or willing to commute to Boston regularly for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for growth surfaces across the customer lifecycle.
• Design growth loops and lifecycle experiences including referrals and monetisation.
• Balance deep craft with rapid shipping across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain and elevate Nivoda’s design system for consistency and quality.
• Run lightweight user research and ground decisions in real user behaviour.
• Collaborate with engineers to ship designs accurately and quickly.
• Use data and experiments to validate decisions and iterate on designs.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
• Bring an AI-informed perspective to ideation and prototyping.
• Mentor junior designers and promote strong craft and feedback culture.
