Job summary

Nivoda is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Growth Pod to own both backend systems and frontend experiences that convert sign-ups into active paying customers. You’ll tackle Sign-up, Onboarding, Verification, Discovery, and Checkout, building end-to-end flows and services that keep accounts engaged and moving toward repeat purchases.

You’ll collaborate with Design, Product, Data, and Risk, and push for scalable, testable solutions in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ownership of customer-facing production features from UI to service.
• Proficiency with React/TypeScript and modern frontend practices.
• Rigorous experimental design with guardrail metrics and analysis.
• Proficiency with SQL and data warehousing for cohort and funnel analysis.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship React/Next.js interfaces for sign-up, onboarding, verification, discovery, and checkout.
• Own backend services behind onboarding, verification, activation, and funnel logic.
• Integrate with identity verification, KYB/KYC, and fraud/risk providers.
• Design and run experiments and analyze metrics to improve activation and reactivation.
• Draft analytical queries and validate results before shaping product decisions.
• Build AI-assisted tooling to accelerate funnel and lifecycle features.
