Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the design system across web and mobile, owning components, tokens, documentation, accessibility standards, and governance. You will partner closely with engineering to ensure parity between design and code while supporting TheraNest initiatives with user research and accessible design.

This role emphasizes leading design at scale, mentoring designers, and guiding decisions with product managers, all while considering privacy and HIPAA

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or UX design, including design systems leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to evolve design systems with governance and documentation.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to detail.
• Advocates for accessibility (WCAG/ADA) in design approaches.
• Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.
• Collaborates with product managers and cross-functional teams in iterative cycles.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, prototyping, tokens, AI tools.
• Working with engineering on a coded component library (HTML/CSS).
• Excellent communication and ability to present to stakeholders.
• A portfolio demonstrating design system and product design work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution, management, and quality of the design system across web and native mobile.
• Own and improve components, patterns, tokens, documentation, accessibility, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering to plan, design, review, test, and release updates.
• Maintain parity between designed and coded sources and guide teams.
• Build accessibility into components from the start.
• Advocate for WCAG/ADA and document accessibility expectations.
• Maintain design system documentation, usage guidance, and specs.
• Support AI readiness through docs, tokens, and guidance.
• Lead design system meetings, office hours, and reviews.
• Communicate updates, gather feedback, drive adoption, educate teams.
• Prioritize design system backlog with product owner and engineering.
• Partner with product managers for TheraNest initiatives with UX input.
• Design user-centered solutions aligned to business goals and metrics.
• Produce concepts, wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, specs.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing with product partners.
