Job summary

OpenLoop Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to craft the shared foundation for patient- and client-facing experiences, AI agents, and operational platforms. You’ll shape tokens, components, and documentation that AI tools can use by default.

You’ll partner with product designers, engineers, andPMs across teams to set standards, drive adoption, and elevate performance across data-dense interfaces and healthcare workflows.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in product design with design systems focus.
• Experience scaling design systems across multiple teams.
• Ability to author AI skills and agent instructions.
• Comfort with code, HTML/CSS/React, and Storybook.
• Strong accessibility and WCAG knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design system development from audit to adoption.
• Define tiered tokens and theming for client brands.
• Automate token flow from design to code (e.g., Style Dictionary).
• Create live documentation for designers, engineers, and AI.
• Ensure accessibility and nice UX in clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineers and PMs to drive adoption.
• Prototype components in code using Storybook and AI tools.
• Shape data-dense UI patterns and patterns for AI interactions.
