Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Cards & Credit team. You will own meaningful product problems, translate complex systems into simple experiences, and shape end-to-end workflows from problem framing to final implementation.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Brand to ensure a cohesive experience across digital and physical cards, focusing on thoughtful design, craft, and user outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful Cards & Credit product problems from framing through shipped experience, collaborating with Product and Engineering.
• Turn complex systems and edge cases into experiences that are simple and intuitive.
• Work across the design stack from framing problems to workflows, interactions, visual design, prototyping, and final implementation.
• Explore broadly and design from first principles, questioning inherited patterns when a better answer exists.
• Bring high interaction and visual craft to the Cards & Credit experience, including typography, motion, and state.
• Collaborate with Brand on physical cards to create a cohesive product experience.
