Job summary

Mercury is building its first consumer credit card and seeks a Senior Product Manager to define, ship, and grow the product from initial cohort to portfolio. You will own the acquisition funnel, approval experience, underwriting models, rewards economics, and day-to-day account management.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, and partners to align on one cohesive plan and drive a compelling customer experience in a regulated fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building consumer products, including at least one where money moved and errors were expensive.
• Strong understanding of credit products, approvals, and underwriting processes.
• Experience launching consumer fintech products with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and ship the card product from concept to launch.
• Own acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization for the card.
• Lead through data and experimentation to improve the customer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, and partners.
• Set the product craft bar with clear disclosures and user-centric copy.
