Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to shape AI-first experiences for frontline teams. You’ll own end-to-end design across web and mobile, partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and designers to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive tools for maintenance technicians and facility managers.

You have 6+ years in B2B SaaS design, hands-on AI feature work, and outstanding visual and interaction design skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights for real users solving real problems.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• A systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and scales design decisions across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design intent and influence cross-functional peers.
• Expert level of English, both spoken and written, for cross-team collaboration and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for AI-powered product surfaces across web and mobile—from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers to simplify workflows.
• Translate ambiguous AI problems into clear, testable design solutions with product and engineering partners.
• Build design systems with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
• Present design work with clear rationale and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
• Use AI tools in your design process to accelerate work and raise quality.
