Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of product designers shaping AI-powered, user-friendly workflows for our enterprise platform. You will set the creative direction across design areas, mentor designers at various career stages, and partner deeply with Product and Engineering to ensure design drives outcomes.

You will own design quality, guide the team through ambiguity, and recruit top talent while pushing for consistency and a strong design system.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• 1–3 years of experience managing product designers.
• Strong product thinking and craft judgment.
• Able to lead with trust, clarity, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own design quality across multiple product areas for web and mobile.
• Lead and grow a team of 4–6 product designers, conducting 1:1s and providing feedback.
• Translate product strategy into focused design execution and a clear team vision.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to align priorities.
• Raise the craft bar by contributing to design critiques and design system improvements.
• Lead the team in adopting AI tools to accelerate design work and improve output quality.
