MaintainX, the world’s leading AI-powered maintenance and asset management platform, is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers who make complex workflows simple and intuitive. You’ll set creative direction across product areas and partner deeply with Product and Engineering to shape outcomes, not just ship screens.

In this role you will grow a 4–6 person design team, hire and guide talent, and champion AI-powered experiences that move fast and deliver impact across factory

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• 1–3 years of experience managing product designers.
• Strong product thinking and craft judgment.
• You build trust through how you show up.
• You care about AI-powered product experiences, both in how your team designs for AI-first workflows and how they use AI tools to push the quality and speed of their own work.

Responsibilities

• Own design quality across your team's product areas for web and mobile.
• Lead and grow a team of 4-6 product designers. Run 1:1s, drive career growth, deliver feedback, and build a team culture.
• Translate product strategy into focused design execution and set a clear directional vision.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering leads to align on priorities and unblock delivery.
• Raise the craft bar through design critiques and contributing to the design system.
• Lead your team in adopting AI tools and practices to accelerate design work.
