Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of product designers, shaping AI-powered, enterprise-grade experiences for our maintenance and asset management platform. You will mentor designers, translate strategy into execution, and partner with Product and Engineering to ship impactful work.

You will guide 4–6 designers, hire and develop talent, and raise design quality across web and mobile while integrating AI tools to speed workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• 1–3 years of experience managing product designers.
• Strong product thinking and craft judgment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own design quality across your team's product areas for web and mobile.
• Lead and grow a team of 4-6 product designers, with 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
• Translate product strategy into focused design execution and set a clear team vision.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads to prioritize and unblock delivery.
• Contribute to design critiques, invest in the design system, and ensure consistency across experiences.
• Lead your team in adopting AI tools to accelerate design work and improve output.
