Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Product Designer in New York City to lead a design workstream within the Financial Services - Technology Consulting team. You’ll work with researchers, technologists, product managers, and client teams to craft AI-first, human-centered experiences and scalable design systems.

The role requires a strong portfolio, advanced Figma skills, and frequent collaboration with clients. Domestic travel up to 80% is expected as projects span the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX Design, Interaction Design, Industrial or Product Design or related field, and 3 years of progressive work experience or a master's and 2 years of work experience.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end product design: problem framing, interaction design, visual craft and outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma including prototyping and design system contribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of a workstream end-to-end from framing the problem to specifications engineers can build from.
• Mentor junior designers and collaborate with researchers, technologists, and product managers.
• Use AI to move faster through framing, options, prototypes, and synthesis while ensuring accuracy, accessibility and brand alignment.
• Support business development activities such as pursuits and proposals and contribute to practice-building initiatives.
