Job summary

Toast Tab, Inc. is seeking a senior consumer designer to own the end-to-end reservations and booking flow across mobile and web interfaces.

You will design the entire guest journey, balancing guest and restaurant needs, while shipping across native and responsive surfaces with a focus on accessibility. You’ll collaborate with product, eng, research, and marketing to elevate the guest experience using AI tooling for faster prototyping and stronger concepts.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years designing consumer products with shipped work in portfolio.
• Range across native and responsive guest-facing and operator-facing.
• Bonus for scheduling, availability, transactional, or marketplace flow experience.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools and Figma, with a strong handle on accessibility.
• Solid UX fundamentals and the judgment to know which one a problem needs.

Responsibilities

• Think through ambiguous problems and propose a POV and prototype.
• Design the complete user journey, not just the booking screen.
• Balance guest and restaurant needs during booking.
• Use behavioral data and guest feedback to guide next steps.
• Prototype quickly and test with users; rough is fine.
