Job summary

Virtualitics, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a senior product designer to lead user experiences for AI-native, agent-driven applications. You will own ambiguous problems, shape UX at kickoff, and guide design through cross-functional teams.

You will refine design systems, prototypes in Figma and code, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. Remote flexibility and hybrid options are available for team members in LA or DC.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of product design experience with a track record of shipping well-designed products.
• Portfolio of three or more case studies or highlighted projects showing complex problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Figma proficiency, including component-driven architecture and interactive prototypes.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems without a handed spec.

Responsibilities

• Own ambiguous, loosely scoped design problems end to end across multiple projects.
• Serve as the primary design contact at kickoff and transition ownership to the team as work matures.
• Define interaction patterns for agent-driven experiences and consistent error handling across deployments.
• Leverage and extend the design system and component library for everyday use by PMs and engineers.
• Mentor junior designers and raise the standard of critique.
